WaveBox® Appears on ‘A Big Life’ Web Program

Sissy Biggers, the witty host of an Internet-only lifestyle program on the MSN Network, provided perhaps the best television moment to date for the WaveBox® portable microwave when she said the WaveBox® has “made America a better place to camp.”

“A Big Life With Sissy Biggers,” a weekly broadband program produced by NBC Universal, paid a visit to the WaveBox® booth at the International Home & Housewares Show. Biggers engaged in her trademark humorous banter with Bob Stimson, sales vice president for the WaveBox®.

During the interview, Stimson explained how the WaveBox® can be powered by the “cigarette lighter” type power outlet in many vehices. “Whoa, whoa, whoa,” Biggers interrupted. “I can plug a microwave in my cigarette lighter? Bob, you’ve made America a better place to camp.”

“A Big Life” featured a dozen outdoors products on the show, including grills, an outdoor heater and LED patio lights. “A Big Life With Sissy Biggers” is available on demand on the Web at originals.msn.com/abiglife.

Biggers is a former producer and host from the Food Network, contributor to NBC’s Today show, and was the original host of ABC’s Exreme Makeover program. “A Big Life” is in its second season.
